Boston University's recreation facilities are generally open for use 7 days per week regardless of inclement weather. All or portions of facilities may be forced to close in the event that they are directly impacted by the weather.

Formal programs such as classes and intramurals may be cancelled or postponed due to playing conditions and instructor travel. Physical education courses taken for credit will be canceled if the university is closed due to inclement weather.
