What are Intramural Sports?

Leagues and tournaments are offered in the Fall, Spring and Summer. Intramural teams are made up of friends from residence halls and classes or students, faculty and staff members from various departments. Registration for the Spring semester begins on January 15. Remember, register early as many sports fill up fast.

Teams are scheduled into leagues that run for five to eight weeks followed by a single elimination playoff tournament. Each team plays approximately one game a week in the evening or on the weekend. Men's, women's, and co-rec leagues are available in most sports and teams chose their ability division ("A" = Average or "AA" = Above Average) based on the experience level of team members.

If you are an individual who would like to join a team, please attend the specific sports captains meeting to try to sign on with a team as a free agent. There is no guarentee you will be able to land on a team, so please attempt to join a team prior to the captains meeting.
