Fall Registration is now open! The fall session begins Tuesday, September 2!

Private swimming lessons provide the greatest flexibility and one-on-one attention for swimmers of any age.  Please read the Frequently Asked Questions document below for answers to many common questions regarding private lessons.  If you have any further questions, you may contact the coordinator at jlands@bu.edu.

Lessons will start and end promptly according to scheduled time, so plan on arriving at least 10-15 minutes beforehand so that you can change into your swim suit and start your lesson on time.

Cancellations

To cancel a lesson, email the private lesson coordinator. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. The lesson may be rescheduled but refunds will not be issued. Refunds will only be issued for medical reasons, in which case a doctor’s note must be presented. If a participant in a semi-private lesson can not attend, the lesson should be rescheduled; otherwise the missing party will forfeit the lesson.

In case of an emergency (e.g. sudden illness, family emergency), immediately call the Front Desk (617-358-3740) to inform them and email the private lesson coordinator. The decision on whether the lesson will result in rescheduling or forfeiture will be at the discretion of the private lesson coordinator.
