Donate to the Friends of BU Dance Theatre Group

The Friends of Boston University Dance Theatre Group support Dance Theatre Group’s and the dance department’s many activities.  Activities in the past have included self-produced concerts, the launch of the Ballet Variations Project, an outdoor performance at Marsh Chapel, participation in the Martin Luther King celebration and attendance at the New England Regional American College Dance Festival conference. The Friends of BU Dance Program members include alumni, students, and members of the community with a special interest in the vitality of dance at BU.

Your gift to the Friends of BU Dance Theatre Group will help us continue to grow and to serve the University and local community by enabling us to program:

• Guest artists for residencies: inspiring choreographers and exposing the community to prominent dance professionals
• Master Classes with noted teachers: increasing accessibility to both students and the community
• Dance Showcases: nurturing and supporting the works of faculty, alumni and guest artists
• Aurora Borealis: defraying expenses for a unique collaboration with CFA lighting designers and choreographers
• American College Dance Festival conferences:  providing funds for travel and participation in this regional dance event.
